Begin Your Order
Completing the Inquiry Form will help both of us to understand
your expectations and to help you receive the best portrait possible.
Please do not send the photographs until after I have replied
by e-mail to your Inquiry Form. After we have discussed your portrait,
then you may send me a selection of photographs via e-mail or
U.S. mail. Then, when we have agreed upon the specifics of the
portrait, I will request a 25% deposit to ensure the sincerity
of the request. I will be very careful with your photographs and
I will return all of them to you with your completed portrait.
Before I begin the actual painting process I will e-mail you a
rough sketch for your approval. My preference is to paint the
portraits in pastel, as pastel seems to create a very realistic
quality when rendering the animal's fur. I will, if you prefer,
paint in charcoal or oil, and the mediums will be priced accordingly.
Approval
of Completed Portrait
Upon
completion of the portrait I will send a proof of the finished
painting to you via e-mail. At that time , after receiving your
approval of the portrait I will, upon the receipt of the balance,
which will include the shipping charges, ship your portrait to
you.
Shipping
Shipping varies as it is dependent upon the zone in which you
live. I use UPS and will insure each package. The shipping cost
will be the actual cost only.
Suggested
Sizes
My suggestion in selecting your portrait size is to choose an
image size of at least 12" x 16" and preferable 16"x
20". If you are choosing a head only portrait one consideration
in selecting the finished size of the portrait would be the actual
life size of the pet's head.
Turnaround
The length of time to complete a portrait varies depending upon
the background, size and the basic creative process. I will always
try to accommodate your requests for special completion dates,
as portraits are often purchased as gifts.

Backgrounds are an an additional charge of $50 - $200 depending
on the intricacy of the detail and the size. Additional Subjects
range from $100 - $250 depending on the size of the portrait. |

stand behind the quality of my work. When the final photo of the
portrait is e-mailed to you for your approval I will happily make
any needed adjustments

Each portrait is very personal for both the client and the artist.
I, as the artist, will retain full reproduction copyright on each
portrait. If a client wishes that I do not use it for publicity,
I will respect their wishes.
