orking
in a discipline that I love is my good fortune. My background
includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Medical Illustration
from the Rochester Institute of Technology. As part
of my degree I studied Gross Anatomy at the University
of Rochester School of Medicine. My experience prior
to my decision to be an independent fine arts painter
included medical illustration and corporate advertising.
I have exhibited in galleries and shows throughout New
York and New England garnering several awards including
the Art Spirit Foundation, Diane Bernhard Silver Medal
Award for Excellence in Pastel. My love of animals and
the field of anatomy has introduced me to a new aspect
of painting; animal portraits.
While I continue to maintain my work with galleries
I am pleased to announce I am accepting animal portrait
commissions through my studio in Cambridge, New York.
I enjoy painting people's beloved pets and I hope that
the paintings will give you as much pleasure as I have
received from painting them.
